Titans Episode 3 Review Origins

Titans Episode 3 Titans is a weird show, and nowhere is this more apparent than in “Origins.” It’s kind of remarkable that every major character on this show is a superhero. There are virtually no POV characters, whether comics-based or otherwise (think Foggy Nelson or Karen Page on Daredevil) popping in and out of these episodes on a regular basis to give viewers a window into this world. Instead, we have our heroes and we have the strange villains pursuing them, and Titans just assumes you’re cool with being thrown into the deep end....

Titans Season 2 Episode 7 Review Bruce Wayne

Titans Season 2 Episode 7 Well, the Batusi has arrived on Titans. In a quirky episode where most everyone is on edge at Titans Tower, and piling on Jason Todd, Dick once again strikes out on his own – although aided by his inner Bruce. His inner, sarcastic, goofy Bruce. Let’s begin there. Dick’s self-doubts are personified by his adoptive father, and crime-fighting partner. He appears to harangue and question Dick, but also serve as something as Jiminy Cricket – if Jiminy dressed up like a bat....

Unsolved Mysteries Volume 2 Review Reboot Fits A Flatfoot More Than A Bigfoot

Netflix’s Unsolved Mysteries Volume 2 comes back even more serious than the first volume. The theme music may have a new arrangement which forebodes horrifying tales, but the telling has become even further removed from the overwrought drama of the original series which aired from 1987 to 2010. I have to admit, I miss the cheese of the gravelly melodrama which host Robert Stack exposed from under his raincoat. The crimes are exactly as promised, they are mysterious and open....

Wandavision What Wanda S Kids Mean For The Future Of The Marvel Cinematic Universe

I don’t think I’m overstepping when I say that WandaVision is a weird show. It’s intentionally cryptic and there’s a lot going on. It focuses on two characters who have been in several Marvel movies but never truly got the spotlight. Even their romantic relationship in those movies has come off as forced to viewers at times. For comic fans, it’s an easier pill to swallow because it’s something familiar from the comics....

Wandavision Episode 9 The Big Questions We Need Answered

With just one episode left in the season – and technically the series – the finale of WandaVision has a lot of ground to cover. Its penultimate installment was not just a heartbreaking retrospective of just how terrible Wanda’s life has been and how much she has suffered, it gave us an entirely new understanding of a character that’s been part of this universe for four feature films to date....

Westworld Series Premiere Review The Original

Season 1 Episode 1 Like that long awaited locomotive pulling into Tucson for the first time, Westworld is finally here. Many at HBO have anticipated this day with just as much reverence and optimism as the 1880 denizens of that famous railroad town from the Old West, watching anxiously as the smoke clouds plumed beneath the fading Arizona light. Of course, in spite of the dust, horses, gunplay, and even coal-powered engine from that oft-romanticized era, Westworld is not a Western; nay, for all we know it’s not even located in North America....

What Are Man In The Middle Attacks And How To Prevent Them

The need to educate yourself on cybersecurity has never been greater. That said, only 20.7% of websites use HTTP Strict Transport Security even today. The majority of websites remain vulnerable to a range of cyber-attacks, such as a man-in-the-middle (MITM) attack. MITM attacks allow perpetrators to eavesdrop on the communication between a user and an application while making it look as though the communication is proceeding as it should. The objective of a MITM attack is to collect valuable information, which may include your passwords or credit card details....

What Spider Man No Way Home S Toys Reveal About The Movie

Marvel has unleashed a barrage of official Spider-Man: No Way Home toy images from the usual partner companies — Hasbro, Funko, and LEGO. With that set, let’s break down what some of these toys (possibly) reveal about the upcoming sequel! Black & Gold is the New Red & Blue The Funko Pop!...

What We Do In The Shadows Season 3 Episode 1 Review The Prisoner

What We Do in the Shadows Season 3 Episode 1 What We Do in the Shadows season 3 episode 1, “The Prisoner,” moves quickly through the blood and raw meat left over from the slaughter of the season 2 finale, “Nouveau Théâtre des Vampires.” The episode is named for the faithful familiar Guillermo (Harvey Guillén), who took out about 70 percent of the most powerful vampires in the Tri-State area. When the episode opens, he is being held in a cage while Nandor the Relentless (Kayvan Novak), Nadja of Antipaxos, (Natasia Demetriou), Laszlo Cravensworth (Matt Berry), and Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) decide his fate....

Where Grand Theft Auto Ranks On The List Of Best Selling Video Game Franchises

According to those reports, Grand Theft Auto 5 has sold over 150 million units to date. While that’s an impressive enough figure in its own right, what may be even more impressive is the fact that the lifetime sales figures of the GTA franchise just crossed the 350 million units mark. You probably don’t need a lot of historical context to appreciate just how absurd those figures are, but you’re not alone if those latest numbers make you wonder where GTA now ranks among the best-selling video game franchises ever....

Why Cary Fukunaga Left Stephen King S It

The choice of initial studio Warner Bros. for Fukunaga for It was contemporaneously bold in 2012, seeing as he was relatively new, coming off only his second feature, 2011’s adaptation of Charlotte Brontë novel Jane Eyre. After all, this was one of the most prominent novels in King’s sizable CV, and remains ingrained in the nostalgic memories and/or nightmares of generations by way of the ABC television miniseries, which, while cheesy, was driven by Tim Curry’s hauntingly iconic performance as demonic clown Pennywise....

Why Taskmaster Fans Need To Watch The Horne Section Tv Show

Horne will be playing a fictionalised version of himself, who tires of being Greg Davies’ little assistant, and decides to pitch his own late-night music chat show on Channel 4, featuring his band The Horne Section, to be filmed at his chaotic home. Irreverent and sometimes surreal, the humour is self-aware and silly, with the lovable blend of comedy and catchy music that The Horne Section is known for. It’s a little bit scrappy and homemade, but benefits from not taking itself too seriously, and grows in confidence over the first three episodes as it carves out its own identity....

Why The Legend Of Zelda Isn T Named After Link

For those who have never played a Legend of Zelda game, the series’ main character is a young boy (or man, depending on the entry) named Link. He is, without fail, a mute hero with bottomless pockets and even more bottomless courage. And yet despite being the face of the franchise, every game is named after one Princess Zelda, whose role, particularly in the early games, often boils down to “damsel in distress” (she’s gotten better material in more recent installments, thankfully)....

Wwe 2K22 Has One Of The Worst And Weirdest Character Rosters Ever

Having said that, WWE 2K22 also features one of the worst fighting game rosters I’ve ever seen and certainly one of the worst (and weirdest) rosters in the history of pro wrestling games. It’s always a little odd to call WWE games “fighting games” given that, much like professional wrestling itself, they kind of exist at the intersection of a variety of genres, but there’s always been a fighter at the heart of most of those titles....
